The Rooted Guarantee. One year, money back
- Measure your tree against the numbers above the day it arrives. Misses the spec, we refund you in full and you keep the tree.
- Your guarantee begins the day your tree is planted, and runs one full growing season.
- Money back to your card, your choice of refund or replacement. We pay the freight.
- No photo bureaucracy, no registration, no arbitration clause.
Five dollars of the only thing that reliably moves the needle in year one: live endo- and ectomycorrhizal fungi, humic acid and a low-salt slow-release starter. Cut one packet into the backfill when you plant. It builds the root system that carries the tree through its first Texas August, which is the summer that kills most new trees. One packet per tree.
What actually ships
- Format: 4 oz granular packet, resealable
- Coverage: One packet treats one 3-gallon or 7-gallon tree
- Active: Endomycorrhizal and ectomycorrhizal propagules, humic acid, low-salt slow-release NPK starter
- Shipped as: Flat pack, ships with your trees at no extra shipping cost
- Honest note: This is a soil inoculant, not a rescue. It will not save a tree that was planted too deep or drowned. Planting depth beats every product on this page
Mature size
- Shelf life: 24 months sealed, cool and dry
- When to use: At planting. A second packet at the start of year two is optional
Where it grows
- Use with: Every tree in this catalog
- Do not: Do not put it in the planting hole against bare roots as a concentrated layer. Mix it through the backfill
Ship window and your cancellation right
Ships within 3 business days by USPS or UPS Ground, contiguous US.
If we cannot ship inside that window we will email you before it closes with a revised date and a one-click cancel link. If the new date is 30 days or less past the original, you can wait or cancel, your choice. If we need more than 30 days, your order is cancelled and refunded automatically unless you tell us to hold it. Refunds go back to your original card within 7 business days. This is the FTC Mail Order Rule (16 CFR Part 435) and we would rather you use it than be surprised.
The spec is the promise
Measure your tree against the "What actually ships" numbers above on the day it arrives. If it misses the spec, photograph it and we refund you in full and you keep the tree. We are not going to send you a stick and a photograph of somebody else's oak.
About this image: our product photography is an illustrative rendering of a mature, well-grown specimen of this species. It is not a photograph of the individual plant you will receive. The written "What actually ships" spec above is the binding description of your tree.
The honest tradeoff: This is a soil inoculant, not a rescue. It will not save a tree that was planted too deep or drowned. Planting depth beats every product on this page
